Any multi party system is a fatal reduction in available variety (choices). All politics, all political governance will be by independent candidates that are put forward by themselves and elected by the people based upon their character and their agendas.
It is possible the the New China overall government is meta to all the rest and has very different methods and rules, at least for the transition period of decades.
